Drawing  from his Jesuit background and Argentinian heritage, Pope Francis has made significant contributions to the social teaching of the Catholic Church. He has advanced our understanding and collective commitment to a range of vital social justice topics.  Father Massaro, drawing from the chapters of his soon-to-be-published book "Mercy in Action" will describe the contribution of Pope Francis in these areas:  economic inequality; worker justice in a globalized economy; ecology; healthy family life; care for migrants, refugees and trafficked persons; and peace building;
