Come to the beginning of the Triduum Liturgy that begins with Holy Thursday and ends with the Easter Vigil.
“The celebration of the Lord’s Supper constitutes the opening movement of the Easter triduum. It is the first step of the celebration of Christ’s passover. The liturgy of Holy Thursday is held in the evening in accordance with the custom of the ancient church. The focus of the liturgy is found in the antiphon of the entrance rite: ‘We should glory in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, for he is our salvation, our life, and our resurrection; through him we are saved and made free.’” - Joseph A. Komonchak, Mary Collins, and Dermot A. Lane, The New Dictionary of Theology (Collegeville, MN: Liturgical Press, 2000), 298–299.
