Who is called to help with chapel cleaning?

Any person interested in maintaining a clean and welcoming sacred space essential to communal worship.

When does the chapel cleaning team meet? What do they do?

Teams of two are on a rotating roster to clean the upstairs and downstairs chapel floors.

Cleaning the chapel floors (and we only clean the floors) may take an hour to an hour and a half to complete.  Team members divide the task as they wish.

With four teams, the cleaning obligation is about once a month.

Teams arrange their own times for cleaning during their assigned weeks and are responsible for getting substitutes if they are unable to clean during their scheduled time.
