The Good Shepherd Sisters have seven communities in Myanmare: Hopin, Loikaw, Mandalay, Thayarwadi Township, Latha Township, Yangon Village, and a novitiate in Yangon.

The Order has been in Myanmar since 1990 and includes Burmese sisters.

Cyclone Nargis damaged the buildings at convent in Yangon, but no one was injured.
